an owl is about. it is a strange thing. I mean, it isnt strange that an owl is about exept for the fact that i dont ever recall an owl being in this damned town. I even think -- yes think -- that the owl is an import -- brought here for no other reason than to create a contraversy (kon-tree-verse-see) in the neighborhood. "save the owl!", "kill the freakin' thing!".

Strange thing.
Today is the first day with Hunter being dead. The evening was spent with the whiskey and the beer and recitals of 'the great shark hunt.' Gonzo papers volume one. From nixon to napalm....carter to cocaine. Hunter is ready to jump in the liner notes. and that was in 77. I was one. not thinking about ending it all...not thinking about much.

like one of those things that you throw in a bath-tub...and watch it grow 12 times its original size.
